DONATE TO THE RESTORE

Looking to get rid of new or gently used home improvement items? Consider donating them to the ReStore! Your contribution as a donor to the ReStore not only keeps usable materials out of landfills, but saves on your hauling costs and helps others in the community. And, your donation is also tax deductible.  We currently offer a pick up service in order to help haul donations to our ReStore if you are unable. Or, you are welcome to drop off donations during our normal business hours.

Donation Drop Offs

WEDNESDAY: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
THURSDAY: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
FRIDAY: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
SATURDAY: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm

We will have staff available to help unload donations and give you a donation receipt.

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF DONATIONS AND LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE OF OUR STORE WHILE WE ARE CLOSED AS IT IS AGAINST CODE.

Donation Pick Ups

The ReStore also provides an expanded pick up service thanks to a grant from the Wabash Valley Community Foundation which allowed us to purchase a newer box truck. Pick-Ups must be scheduled ahead of time with our ReStore Manager & Driver. If you are interested in scheduling a pick up, please call the ReStore at (812) 232-9200.
DISCLAIMER: WE ARE UNABLE TO HAUL AWAY TRASH OR SORT ITEMS.

VOLUNTEER AT THE RESTORE

Your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a place to put your talents to work. Habitat for Humanity volunteers- both on the construction sites and in Habitat ReStores- continuously help families in their local communities build a safe and affordable place to call home. Volunteers provide support to ReStore staff in a variety of ways from stocking shelves to cleaning to providing customer service. Restores strive to keep operating costs as low as possible to maximize the amount of money that goes directly to benefit our community, and volunteers are one way to achieve this. Volunteers also help ensure every ReStore is a great experience for donors and shoppers.

Volunteer opportunities at the Wabash Valley Habitat ReStore:
  • Customer Service
  • Stocking store shelves
