Through Shelter, We Empower.
Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity works toward our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and affordable place to live. By partnering with donors and volunteers, Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity  builds new or repairs existing homes with qualified, low-income families in our community.

Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Monthly mortgage payments are set at 30% or less of the homeowner's income making homeownership an affordable reality.  Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.

As a nonprofit organization, we are funded through the generosity of local individuals, businesses and faith organizations.
Since 1989, Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity has served over 71 families in Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley. In addition to the homeowners we serve locally. SinceS
