As a nonprofit organization, Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity can't thrive without the support of donors. Will you pay it forward and help a family in need?

Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the globe work collectively to eliminate substandard housing in their communities, in the hopes that one day, everyone will have a safe place to call home. Our mission drives us forward, but it is the people who lay the foundation and inspire us to keep building. We rely on support and donations locally from people within our own community. Your support builds strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

Donations are used as designated by the donor and forwarded to that project. Any undesignated gifts are used where most needed. All Habitat donations are tax-deductible, and each gift helps a family in need of decent shelter.

​No matter the size of your monetary gift, it will be put to good use. For example:

$10 - Box of Nails
to securely hold together the walls of a new home.

$35 - Roof Shingles
to put a roof over the head of a family in need.

$50 - Low Flow Toilet 
to help homeowners save on the cost of utilities.

$100 - A Kitchen Sink
to wash dishes after the first family meal in their new home.

$150 - A Front Door
to cross the threshold into a new life.

$500 - Siding
to add a personal touch to each home.

$1,000 - Drywall
to protect the inner contents of the home.

$2,000 - Flooring
to give homeowners solid ground to stand upon.

Individual Giving

Did you know that according to Giving USA, "giving by individuals accounts for 72% of all monetary contributions." Our organization relies on donations from individuals that support our mission. Mail a check to our office anytime or drop one off in person Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm. Please make checks payable to Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity. 

Gifts In-Kind

Did you know that donating is possible without writing a check? If you're a professional electrician, plumber, painter, etc., consider donating your time and talents on our construction site. Donating your professional services helps us keep the costs of building as low as possible; and, we enjoy having mentors on site to lend advice and work with our homeowners and volunteers. You can also donate your time by sitting on one of our action teams and working with Habitat for Humanity behind the scenes.
